Become A Mentor

Overview:

The LifeGold Initiative, Inc. (LGI) is recruiting female professionals to become mentors in our TeamGold and E.P.I.C. mentoring programs. Research shows that the experience of mentorship during adolescence has a significant positive impact on youth development. Some of the benefits experienced by mentored youth include emotional intelligence, improved social relationships, and increased self-efficacy. At LGI, we provide a nurturing community for our mentees where they are safe, supported, and encouraged to pursue their life aspirations. Our mentors have a genuine desire to help our mentees become their best selves. To ensure the safety and welfare of our mentees, every mentor has passed a criminal background check and completed mentor training. Once matched, mentoring sessions are closely monitored for the ongoing support of the mentoring relationship.
